The West Nova Scotia Regiment is an infantry unit part of the Canadian Armed Forces. It consists of Reserve (part-time) soldiers from all parts of Nova Scotia, and is based out of Aldershot, Nova Scotia. Currently we have four platoons of soldiers meeting at 4 different locations on Thursday evenings from 7:00-10:00pm (Bridgewater's 4PL meets on Wednesday evenings). Our platoons are situated in Windsor, Middleton, Aldershot and Bridgewater. If you would like to join the Reserves for a chance at an exciting career in the military, you can email the Recruiting NCO for more information

WNSR.ca 75th Anniversary Re-Launch!

In recognition of the West Nova Scotia Regiment's 75th anniversary wnsr.ca will be undergoing major changes to be a modern useful resource for both past, present and future members. Also in celebration the unit will be celebrating Italy Day in May as well as the Regimental Association Annual General Meeting in September 2011, more information on these events will be available online soon, so please continue to check back frequently.
