Sgt Tim Keith meets John Stanton

The weekend of May 26th, 2013 the Canadian Forces held its annual National Running Championship, in conjunction with the Ottawa Race weekend. This event attracts 42,000 runners, nationally and internationally, which includes over 100 CF competitors, to run the 5 and 10 Km or half and full marathon distances.

Sgt. Tim Keith, competing at his 3rd CF National event, is pictured here with John Stanton, founder of the Running Room and best-selling author of eight books, holding the West Nova Scotia Regiment Camp Flag. He is an Honorary Lieutenant-Colonel of the Loyal Edmonton Regiment 4th Battalion, Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry and appointed member of the Order of Canada. John Stanton had great words of advice to help motivate all runners.

Congratulations to Sgt Keith on competing at the national level!
